I can’t even tell you what iteration of The Pussycat Dolls this is. After Nicole Scherzinger, Jessica Sutta and the original ladies left, it’s been a revolving door of girls donning booty shorts and stilettos trying to fill the former lineup’s shoes. I seriously thought the five girls featured in the Go Daddy Super Bowl commercial which included former Girlicious Chrystina Sayers was the final lineup. You would think with an audience of 100+ million viewers, Robin Antin would have her sh*t together. Alas not.

Just a few months later, Sayers along with a couple of girls were out and X Factor Season 1 contestant Simone Battle and another Girlicious girl, Natalie Mejia, were in. A couple of promo shots were even released with that lineup. Now comes word, yet another casting change has made. Mejia is out and Emmalyn Estrada is in.

Estrada’s addition was confirmed last week when watch brand Holler announced the Pussycat Dolls were their latest celebrity ambassadors. Holler held a photoshoot with current members Lauren Bennett, Paula Van Oppen, Emmalyn Estrada, Natasha Slayton and Simone Battle posing in Holler T-shirts and wearing the brand’s watches. Expect that piece of art to come shortly ;)

When I heard PCD was going through another lineup change, I had no intention of writing about it. When I found out it was local Vancouver girl Emmalyn Estrada, I couldn’t resist. Seen Estrada around town at a couple of events and she seems like a nice enough girl. Not only is she adorably cute, but the girl can sing. She released a music video last year that gave me an Alicia Keys sorta vibe. She also does a cover of fun’s “Out On The Town” that’s not half bad. Check out both videos below.
