Hosting Project Runway isn’t as easy as it seems. Heidi Klum makes it seem like a breeze with her Auf Wiedersehens, short dresses and overall Heidi-isms. Apparently, not all supermodels were created equally.

In the All-Stars format, the show has cycled through three hosts now. Season 1 had Angela Lindvall, but was replaced by Rosie Huntington Whiteley for Season 2. But just days before filming the second season, Rosie bailed and Carolyn Murphy was brought in last minute to fill the position. Murphy was a definite improvement over Lindvall and I’ll miss her. Find out who producers have tapped this time. Surprisingly, it’s not another model but an actress.

Believe it or not, the diminutive Alyssa Milano will be stepping in to host the next cycle of Project Runway All-Stars. WOW. When it rains it pours. Milano was nowhere in sight the past couple years and now she’s starring in two shows- ABC’s Mistresses premiering tonight and Lifetime’s long-running reality show. Her agent must be getting a nice little commission from all these bookings.

Lifetime has yet to announce the designers competing this season, but production is slated to start later this month. What do you think of Milano’s addition? Was she the right choice to host the show or should the producers have stuck with another supermodel? Sound off below.
