Get ready for another Royal wedding. Kensington Palace just announced one of the world’s most eligible bachelors will officially be off the market in 2018. Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle will marry sometime in spring. Check out the official statement below.
“His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales and Ms. Meghan Markle are engaged to be married.
His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of Prince Harry to Ms. Meghan Markle.
The wedding will take place in Spring 2018. Further details about the wedding day will be announced in due course.
His Royal Highness and Ms. Markle became engaged in London earlier this month. Prince Harry has informed Her Majesty The Queen and other close members of his family. Prince Harry has also sought and received the blessing of Ms. Markle’s parents.
The couple will live in Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace.”
No venue was immediately revealed. Harry’s brother, Prince William, married Kate Middleton in April 2011 at Westminster Abbey while his parents, Prince Charles and Diana Spencer, tied the knot at St. Paul’s Cathedral in 1981.
Prince Harry (33) and Markle (36) were introduced by friends in July 2016. This will mark the Suits star’s second trip down the aisle. She was previously married to movie producer Trevor Engelson from 2011 to 2013.
Bet this wedding will draw bigger Nielsen ratings than his brother’s wedding since Harry is marrying an American. This Royal wedding countdown is going to be bonkers. They make such an adorable pairing. Their kids are going to be insanely cute. Congrats to the happy couple.
