Patrick Contemplating Life

A few of my closest friends and I have decided to start this blog.  Well, this is my first blog entry…ever actually.  I look forward to documenting the year as it goes by.  Last year was pretty crazy & exciting, packed with a lot of change.  I’ve grown really close to my group of friends and we’ve had so many good times over the past year and a half – HENCE why this blog will be a good idea – “yeah, hence!”  I look forward to being able to share all the laughs and good times, and well (let’s be honest), all the drama too – which I NEVER have anything to do with ;)  Oh “the gays.”  Oh the “clique.”  LOL  The past year for my group of friends consisted of a lot of house parties, breakups, hookups, trips & getaways, games nights, soccer, and gossiping.  I traveled back & forth to Seattle a lot as I was dating a guy from there over for about year.  Long distance is hard.  He’s since moved to Washington, DC .  He’s a ginger and he’s very sweet, opinionated, & loves his politics.  :)  LOL.  How did we meet?

That’s a whole other story: see above (partying, hookups, drama).  He’s a great guy.  Prior to that I had dated a guy named Jamie (originally from South Africa) for six years.  We lived together, worked together (own a store together but also worked at Ginch Gonch together for a few years prior to opening the store), shared dogs, a car and a bunch of other stuff – but yes, we broke up.  We now run the store together, live separately (I live with my friend Landon – whom you’ll hear about later), and share “custody” of our dogs Max & Lucy.  We get along well (most of the time ) hehe.   Well, that’s me I guess in nutshell up to today.  Lots more I could say, but that’s all for now.  Oh, and some of my friends call me BL… but that’s another story too.  ;)
