P!nk Tells Glamour She’s A Reformed Slut & Reveals Which N’ Sync Member Took Her On A Date

Candid is one word I would definitely use to describe P!nk. The 33-year-old never holds back during her interviews. The “Try” singer is an open book for the June 2013 issue of Glamour Magazine. She shares with the publication the secrets of being the ultimate alpha girl. Based on her interview, that would include going on a date with an N Sync member and being a “reformed slut.”

Asked why many of the songs on her new record are about sex, such as “Slut Like You” and “Walk of Shame,” P!nk tells the mag, “I’m a reformed slut,” explaining, “It’s my very unsophisticated way of taking the power back.” Preach sister. Check out a few more memorable quotes below, along with the stunning editorial snapped by famed photographer Ellen Von Unwerth.

On Being A Rockstar

“I believe there’s 31 flavors to be tasted… I’m just living my life. I don’t want to be your kind of good.”

On Her Daughter Willow

“Every time she bounces on the bed, I see stitches. Being a parent is a Jedi mind f–k. It’s also the raddest thing ever.”

On Things Being Good With Hubby Carey Hart

“Are things ever good? I don’t believe that exists. Long-term relationships are an everyday choice. It’s harder to be in a marriage than it is to bounce from one relationship to the next. We’re good because we communicate and we’ve grown up together, not because we don’t fight.”

On Touring With N Sync

“Joey Fatone was in love with me. He took me to Friendly’s on a date, and he bought me an ice cream. Such a sweetheart. He asked my dad’s permission.”

On Using ‘Slut’ A Lot In Her Vocabulary

“It’s my very unsophisticated way of taking the power back. I’ve always had an issue with [the idea that]: “OK, we’ve both decided to do this. Why am I a slut and you’re the player? You didn’t get anything from me that I didn’t get from you.”
