Hey girl, where’s your drink? We goin’ all get real drunk tonight.
Hey girl, I got bud, we can all get f*cked up tonight
And by the end of the night I’mma have you so f*cked up.
I’m on Patron tequila, I’m drunk on margarita
That Patron tequila, me and my mamacita
After his weekend’s debaucherous events, I thought this was the perfect post to start the week off. With Christmas parties in full swing and our housewarming this past weekend, those “Patron Tequila” lyrics were ever so prophetic. My head still hurts from all the juice I gave my body.
Recently Patrick, Nic and myself caught The Paradiso Girls live in concert. To be perfectly honest, I wasn’t a huge fan of their single “Patron Tequila” prior to watching them live. But after watching these five gorgeous ladies strut their stuff and perform “hairography” that would make Beyonce envious, I am completely in love with them.
The Paradiso Girls are comprised of five talents representing different countries: Aria Crescendo from France; Lauren Bennett from the UK; Kelly Beckett from Barbados; Shar Mae Amor from the Philippines; and Chelsea Korka from the United States. If Chelsea looks familiar to you, it’s because she was a finalist for “Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search For the Next Doll”. Robin who was the creator for “The Pussycat Dolls” was so impressed with Chelsea that she brought her onboard to her new project “The Paradiso Girls”. The group was also created with the help of will.i.am and Martin Kierszenbaum.
With the success of their summer dance club hit, “Patron Tequila” the ladies are planning to drop their debut album “Crazy Horse” in January 2010. Both EVE and Lil Wayne contributed to their debut single and will.i.am is expected to be featured in their second single, “That’s Just What I Like”. The album also includes production from Cee-Lo Green, Tricky Stewart, The Dream, Stereotypes and The Black Eyed Peas.
Here is some of our footage and pictures from their live concert.
So, what do you think of the Paradiso Girls? Are you a fan? Let me know your thoughts and comments below.
