‘Orange Is The New Black’ Cast Sing Theme Song In Teaser For Final Season

When Orange Is The New Black returns July 26, it’ll be for the last time. Netflix announced last fall that its award-winning flagship series would end after its seventh season.

“After seven seasons, it’s time to be released from prison. I will miss all the badass ladies of Litchfield and the incredible crew we’ve worked with. My heart is orange but fade to black,” creator Jenji Kohan said at the time.

“The ladies of Litchfield come to terms with the fact that prison has changed them forever,” reads Netflix’s official synopsis. “Piper struggles with life on the outside, while life in Max, as corrupt and unjust as ever, goes on without her. Taystee’s friendship with Cindy still hangs in the balance as her life sentence looms, Gloria and her kitchen staff are confronted by the hard truth of Polycon’s newest profit stream, while others chase drugs or dreams and grapple with the reality of their place in this world.”

Orange Is The New Black received widespread acclaim since its 2013 premiere. It’s earned multiple Emmy Nominations including Outstanding Comedy Series in 2014 and, due to a rule change, Outstanding Drama Series in 2015. It’s become the network’s most-watched original series. The series has also received six Golden Globe Award nominations, six Writers Guild of America Award nominations, a Producers Guild of America Award, an American Film Institute award, and a Peabody Award.

The streaming service just released a promo for the final run. It features the cast on set singing the show’s theme song. If you’re a fan of the show, you’ll definitely feel all the feels. It’s a touching watch. Check it out below.
