On Sunday, November 25 on Oprah’s Next Chapter, global superstar Justin Bieber, who took away more trophies than anyone else last night at the American Music Awards, sits down with Oprah Winfrey in a one-on-one interview.
Some clips from the interview have been released, including Oprah and Bieber talking about Selena Gomez, shopping, and how he deals with the fame. Oprah is really building this one up, saying, “In 1993, I did an interview that went live around the world within 24 hours with Michael Jackson. Not since then have I done an interview like this…with Justin Bieber. Justin Bieber is a phenomenon for our time. And just like Elvis Presley, and just like The Beatles and also like Michael Jackson, he has millions of screaming fans all over the world who adore him.”
The episode will air in more than 100 countries worldwide premiering on Sunday, November 25 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on OWN. Get your first look at the interview below.

I’m too old to be a fan of his music, though I’ve always liked him. But doesn’t he have a stylist to tell him that haircut is making his face much longer than is attractive and those shaped eyebrows make him look make totally sexless. He can look hot as hell; there are recent photos that show that. Where’s your manager, Justine?

By the big O’s logic, any teen pop idol is on par with Mj, Elvis or the Beatles. The difference is, 50 years from now Rolling Stone won’t be putting Bieber on their Greatest Songs Of All Time list, no radio stations will be having Justin Bieber Weekends and there won’t be Bieber impersonators in the yellowpages. Does anybody remember Frankie Avalon or the Osmonds on a regular basis? Exactly.

Holy SHIT! no offence to the biebs…but that is the most ridiculous statement. O is for OVER if she really thinks their is any comparison. More politely put I agree with the above

im sorry its insulting to compare artist with great music histories like MJ and elvis with that piece of shit bieber. he is not one of a kind hes remember when people thought justin timberlake had a new song but they learned it was by bieber. honestly i dont understand the praise he gets for being a ignorant, and mediocre.

Lol, “What do you mean by that?” Even he wasn’t feeling the hype.
He can’t be compared to legacies given that he is just starting to build his own…it is fair to say he has gotten off to a hell of a start though. If anything I think social media will make it tougher for someone like him to stay so famous in the long term given how people these days can’t be satiated with enough material and constantly look to the next hit song produced by an existing idol or a new one that comes along.

Are things going that badly at OWN that she needs to make a statement like that and completely discredit herself. Difference is by 1993 MJ had been in the billboard charts for a couple decades and was surrounded by bizarre scandals. No comparison, in 5 years his name won’t be recognizable.

WHAT! No I’m sorry, Justin Bieber is NOTHING like MJ, The Beatles or Elvis. Those 3 were talented performers who’s songs live on decades later, Justin Bieber is a ‘Where are they now?’ in the making. Just because millions of teenage girls get tingly feelings in their pants when they hear him doesn’t mean he’s good. I just can’t even.
