Being a veteran in the circuit party scene (not something I’m particularly proud of but hey it was a phase)… I knew this trip was going to be one crazy weekend. My circuit party experience started in 2002 when I attended over 6 parties across America. Since then it’s drastically tapered down and you could say I’ve gone into circuit retirement. There was a lot of drama surrounding this year’s event organizer but fortunately it all remained fun nonetheless.

Five friends and I ventured out to Orlando from June 4th to the 9th for One Mighty Weekend! With our SKMPEEZ packed for the pool parties during the day and our circuit toned shirtless bodies at night, we were ready to party full force.

On day one, wake up and have some breakfast- which consisted of some fruits, deli meats, brown bread, yogurt and a cocktail, of course. We start getting ready for the first pool party which was conveniently just a hop and a skip outside since we were staying at the host hotel. Dancing, meeting people, swimming and catching some rays was in order from noon until about 6PM. Most people go back to their hotel rooms to freshen up, get dinner, take a power nap and get ready for Typhoon Lagoon. This party was held at a water park and was amazing… imagine thousands of men in bathing suits dancing in the sand and playing in the wave pool. With our SKMPEEZ on, we headed to the party and danced our booties off. We sported the Big Applez and the signature SKMPEEZ swimsuits from their Euroz line which is perfectly cut to give just enough coverage without having to wear a full on speedo cut. For the more conservative guy, they also have the SQUAREZ line which is a little more generously cut for more coverage.

Day two and three were basically exactly the same. The only difference was that on Saturday, we got to see Kelly Rowland perform live at the main party! She sang about four songs, one of them her recent hit with David Guetta called “When Love Takes Over”. This song quickly became our weekend anthem along with several others. I will do a top 5 post of the songs from that weekend and include download links in another post. After the pool parties and the main parties were the after hours at Arabian Nights which were nothing short of phenomenal. Sunday, we had the pleasure of being entertained by Peter Rauhofer who never fails to deliver amazing music and keep the energy going until 8AM.

I would have to say that the parties I most enjoyed on this trip were the pool parties, both after hours and typhoon lagoon. Why did we even bother packing any other clothing since all we essentially wore were bathing suits and shorts! The SKMPEEZ were a big hit with the boys and they loved the designs and flattering cut. They were very comfortable and gave enough coverage without being trashy. Wait ’til you see the pics of what other people were wearing… you’ll see what I mean about trashy LOL. The fabric was great because it dried fast and was still thick enough that it wasn’t see thru. The inside tie was very convenient and kept the suit from coming off as we danced and swam in the pool.
