‘Ocean’s 8’ Shares First Footage In Trailer Tease

It’s only 15 seconds, but it’s a glorious 15 seconds.

Warner Bros. just shared the first look at the highly-anticipated Ocean’s Eleven female-driven sequel Ocean’s 8. It features Cate Blanchett asking Sandra Bullock, “Why do you need to do this?” to which Bullock responds, “Because, it’s what I’m good at.” Between that exchange, a quick montage of the cast is shown to the tune of “These Boots Are Made for Walkin’” I can’t wait for the full trailer to drop Tuesday December 19.

Bullock plays the sister of Danny Ocean (George Clooney), Debbie Ocean. She’s joined in the crime caper by Blanchett as Lou; Rihanna as Nine Ball; Mindy Kaling as Amita; Awkwafina stars as Constance; Helena-Bonham Carter as Rose; Anne Hathaway as Daphne Kluger; and Sarah Paulson stars as Tammy.

The plot of the spin-off is still under wraps but we do know the Met Ball will be at the center of the heist. In addition to James Corden, Damian Lewis and Matt Damon, who’s reprising his Ocean’s Eleven character, the film will feature plenty of cameos. Among them are Vogue’s Anna Wintour, designers Alexander Wang and Zac Posen, Katie Holmes, several members of the Kardashian clan, Zayn Malik, Hailey Baldwin, Maria Sharapova, Olivia Munn and many more.

Check out the trailer tease below. Ocean’s 8 arrives June 8, 2018.
