Having recently turned 18, Dakota Fanning is all grown up and looks stunning in the new ‘Now Is Good‘ movie trailer. In 2001, we first saw her in her breakthrough performance in ‘I Am Sam‘. Now, in this new film, she’s pushing her boundaries once again with an English accent and rather heavy subject.
The film is based on the book, ‘Before I Die‘ and stars Fanning as the lead character Tessa who gets diagnosed with leukaemia, that after four years of chemotherapy becomes terminal. Tessa doesn’t have much longer to live so she, with the help of her best friend Zoey, comes up with a list of things she wants to do before she dies. The list includes some risky behaviors that she deems necessary to have “lived”. One of the biggest things on her list is her desire to lose her virginity (with sexy co-star Jeremy Irvine).
This movie is seriously going to make you cry, so be prepared – my eyes were already watering up while watching the trailer. Although sad, films like these are inspiring because it seems that sometimes it takes us knowing that we’re going to die soon for us to actually start living. Check out the trailer below.
