November 2015: Five Must-See Movies

OMG it has been wayyyyy too long since I’ve talked about movies. I’m so freaking excited for November releases it’s not even funny. There is such a great mix of films this month and a ton of other limited releases that didn’t make the list but still look incredible.

Check out my picks for MUST SEE movies this month

November 2015 Must See Movies

Opens November 6th

Why you should see it: An exploration of the boundless love between a mother and her child under the most harrowing of circumstances. This film is getting rave reviews from festival goers with awards nomination talk for Brie Larson. Lizzy Plapinger’s haunting vocals on the track “All The Things Lost” make this one of my favorite trailers of the year.

Opens November 6th

Why you should see it: Confession: My James Bond fandom was born, lived, and died in the era of Pierce Brosnan and I have yet to venture before or past that era. I know that is utter blasphemy to James Bond die-hards but I just haven’t gotten around to it. One day. Having said that, I know this movie is going to slay the box office so if you’re into Daniel Craig’s Bond… I’m sure you already have your tickets!

Miss You Already

Opens November 6th

Why you should see it: Toni Collette and Drew Barrymore look like they have incredible on screen chemistry in this story of two best friends who have been inseparable since childhood. Directed by Catherine Hardwicke who gave us Thirteen and arguably the best film in the Twilight franchise (the original). I’m already crying from just watching this trailer. Predicting full sobs in theatre.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2

Opens November 20th

Why you should see it: I mean if you’re not on the bandwagon yet, you’re probably living under a rock. The Hunger Games films are one of the biggest film franchises and while Part 1 was a bit of a disappointment, if you’ve read the book you’ll know that Part 2 is the epically emotional climax to this incredible story. Also, boo Gale.

Secret in Their Eyes

Opens November 20th

Why you should see it: Oooooh who doesn’t love a good mystery? Who doesn’t love Julia Roberts? Who doesn’t love Nicole Kidman? (Don’t answer that last one.)
