Nicole Scherzinger has been teasing her new single, “Boomerang” for a while and this morning she debuted the track on British Radio. The single is from her second solo album which is due for release in March.
The track was produced by will.i.am and the music video is apparently coming out tomorrow. In the chorus, Scherzinger sings, “Oh you can turn me down / You can throw me now / The harder I’ll come / Harder I’ll come back around / You can break my heart / But you can’t scratch my name / I can take the hit / Cuz I’m a boomerang.”
I’m undecided about the song. I feel like it sounds so much like something I’d expect from Demi Lovato and reminds me of “Give Your Heart A Break” in a way. Regardless, I’m looking forward to checking out the music video tomorrow and the full album when it comes out in March. Give “Boomerang” a listen below.

Her look is strong and fierce….that track is weak and diluted, no strength, which is probably do to the water downed pop stylings of Will I Am ….disappointed. I’ve seen Nicole live and she is sooooo much better than this

I don’t think the solo career is gonna work. Didn’t work the first time and with this song for the second time…it’ll probably be another failure. She should probably start a jewelry line or something. A perfume maybe?

I think that hr only decent single to date is Don’t Hold Your Breath. Other than that, Nicole was better off with the Dolls.

This track is just overproduced to the point where I question what little talent she has left. Gone are the days when artists actually sang and didn’t rely on a production team to take crap and make crappe.

I LOVE NICOLE SHERZINGER!!! i think she has some great music and i feel like her and kelly rowland could be great dance divas. i still remember when nicole sanged a few bars of i will always love you to simon to prove she can sing and she blew it out of the park. she has some moderate success in uk definately more compared to her solo career in america. i cant wait for her next album.
