Nicki’s third single off her Pink Friday album Moment 4 Life had its music video drop on MTV last night accompanying an interview with the rap superstar. The track featuring label-mate Drake tells the story of two friends who aspire to be rappers and grow up to become famous. So, its only natural that two overnight success stories would collaborate on the song and the video.

The video features a special guest appearance from Nicki’s alter ego Roman Zolanksi mother, Martha Zolanksi who plays Nicki’s fairy godmother. The video is very Cinderella-esque as we see Nicki at the ball and meet her prince charming, Drake there. Rumors are constantly swirling about these two being involved romantically so they both thought this video would be a fun way to play on that.

The song opened up to some mixed reviews from the critics but I have to say it is one of my favorites on the album and the video is pretty awesome too. Its big everything as Nicki does best and directed by Chris Robinson. Nicki recently performed this track on The Ellen Show and you can probably expect to hear it on SNL this Saturday when she appears alongside Jesse Eisenberg who will host this weekend.
