I’ll keep this short, since I don’t really have much time to write (and no one seems to read these anyway :P).
1) PENGUINS SWEEP THE CONFERENCE FINALS! Seems like the Hurricanes have been downgraded to a light breeze. I guess that’s what happens when a team has to pull out 2 game seven victories. Probably tired them out.
2) Detroit cleans up the Hawks in 5. My brain was right, Detroit took that series pretty cleanly. Cheers to Chicago for making it that far, and not getting swept. They’ll be a better team for it next year (if they can keep most of their core players).
So far, I’m 11-3 predicting the series. I’ve been wrong in one series in each round. Time to break that streak. PENGUINS IN 5! It’s their year. Detroit is old (Chelios is 47 years old!) and stupid and I hate them. Childish, I know, but I don’t care.
Penguins are starting a modern sports dynasty, and I’m going along for the ride.
