“The original show was fighting for tolerance, our fight is for acceptance,” says one of the new Fab 5 in the clip. Netflix just released the trailer for its Queer Eye For The Straight Guy reboot. The Emmy-winning show is back and ready to make America fabulous again … one makeover at a time.
“Our new Fab Five will forge relationships with men and women from a wide array of backgrounds and beliefs often contrary to their own, touching on everything from LGBTQ rights and social commentary to how to make the best farm-to-table guacamole and more!” according to Netflix.
From left to right in the picture above, meet the stylish crew stepping into the shoes of Ted Allen, Kyan Douglas, Thom Filicia, Carson Kressley and Jai Rodriguez. Bobby Berk is the design expert. Are You The One? MTV alum Karamo Brown takes on culture, while Jonathan Van Ness tackles personal grooming. With regards to food and wine, that task goes to Antoni Porowski. Lastly, Tan France is the group’s fashionisto.
Unlike the original series which ran on Bravo for five seasons from 2003-2007, the reboot ditches New York and heads down south to Atlanta, Georgia. Queer Eye For The Straight Guy arrives on Netflix on February 7. Check out the trailer below.
