NBC Renews ‘Superstore’ For A Fourth Season

Attention Cloud 9 shoppers!!! Your favorite big-box store is staying in business for at least another year. NBC renewed Superstore for a fourth season.

“Superstore is one of our signature NBC comedies, and we’re so pleased to be bringing it back for the 2018-19 season,” said NBC Entertainment President Jennifer Salke.

The America Ferrera-led comedy has been averaging 5.2 million total viewers and a 1.7 in the 18-49 demographic during Season 3. That represents a growth of three and six percent respectively from last year. The series also delivers a strong upscale audience, indexing at a 119 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes.

Superstore is the third NBC comedy to receive an early renewal. It joins fellow Thursday night offerings, Will & Grace and The Good Place. The sole Thursday sitcom not to know its fate yet is Great News. Sadly, I think the Tina Fey-produced comedy won’t be hearing great news. I predict an axe in its future.

Do you watch Superstore? Glad that it’s back? Weigh in below.
