Mya hasn’t scored a Top 40 hit since “My Love Is Like…Wo” off her Moodring album back in 2003. Can you believe it’s been that long? Since then, she’s released two albums which failed to crack the top 100 on the R&B albums chart and spawn any hits. After taking some advice from Prince, Mya decided to start her own label imprint and work with Japan’s Manhattan Recordings. While her latest K.I.S.S. (short for Keep It Sexy & Simple) hasn’t scored a crossover hit yet, it did end Mya’s drought on the R&B charts- it landed at No. 74. Maybe her latest single will improve the album’s previous chart peak.
The 33-year-old singer just dropped her newest music video. She asked her fans which track was their favorite off K.I.S.S. and “Mr. Incredible” was the victor. Directed by Derek Brown, the clip is a throwback to the 70s, complete with the colors and effects reminiscent of the disco era. Mya looks extra foxy with her big fro, huge earrings and groovy attire. Personally, I like the creative direction of the visual and it really elevates the track to a new level. It’s classic do-me R&B music. Check it out below.

I like but the problem is R&B is a losing game with all that crap ass Rap {I’m old skool rap) dominating R&B radio and video programming. I wish her success and I’ll buy it. I can get it right on this track fa real bcoz I’m Incredible.
