‘Murder On The Orient Express’ Remake Debuts Star-Studded Trailer

All aboard! The classic whodunit on a train is leaving the station. The first official trailer for the Murder On The Orient Express remake has arrived. It introduces the star-studded cast who are potential suspects in murdering Johnny Depp’s character Edward Ratchett.

The new version stars Michelle Pfeiffer as Caroline Hubbard, Daisy Ridley as Mary Debenham, Hamilton star Leslie Odom Jr. as Doctor Arbuthnot, Manuel Garcia Rulfo as Biniamino Marquez, Judi Dench as Princess Dragomiroff, Olivia Colman as Hildegarde Schmidt, Penelope Cruz as Pilar Estravados, Sergei Polunin as Count Andrenyi, and Josh Gad as Hector MacQueen. Kenneth Branagh who directs the film also plays the infamous Detective Hercule Poirot.

What starts out as a lavish train ride through Europe quickly unfolds into one of the most stylish, suspenseful and thrilling mysteries ever told. From the novel by best selling author Agatha Christie, Murder on the Orient Express tells the tale of thirteen strangers stranded on a train, where everyone’s a suspect. One man must race against time to solve the puzzle before the murderer strikes again.

Angelina Jolie was reportedly on board, but abandoned the project in August 2016. Rumors swirled that Charlize Theron was being wooed to take her place, but ultimately Pfeiffer snagged the role.

Murder On The Orient Express arrives in theaters on November 10. Check out the trailer below.
