Frank Ocean leads the pack at this weekend’s Grammys with six nominations. R&B singer Miguel has an impressive five nods himself, including Song of the Year for “Adorn.” The 27-year-old even has a couple of chart toppers on the Billboard R&B chart while Frank doesn’t have any. So why does Ocean dominate all the headlines amongst his R&B compatriots? It’s amazing what the power of coming out will do. With that said, I have a feeling Miguel is gonna get his fare share of attention after his stunt in Sweden.
Perhaps it was all those Swedish meatballs or being around Ikea’s birthplace, but Miguel was feeling a littler friskier than normal. During a segment of his concert in Stockholm, the singer decided to have sex with an imaginary friend. He even pretended to put on a condom before seductively plowing his invisible partner. No glove, no love as they say.
A few comments I’ve read by his fans found his actions too sleazy and distasteful. I say blasphemy. In my books, it was hot and steamy. That said, I do love my male strippers. Whether this garners him more press, the simulated sex stunt officially put me on the Miguel bandwagon. Check out his sexy moves below.
Thanfully, Miguel loves showing off all his hard work at the gym. The guy never met a mirror he didn’t like. Check out the below pic where he gives concert goers in the first row a good look at his goodies. What do you think of the video? If you were in the audience, would you be disgusted or hootin‘ and hollerin‘ all over the place. Sound off below.

I think it’s vulgar, but that’s just me.
As for the Grammy nominations, I have to disagree. Commercial success is not everything. Frank Ocean’s album is incredible as a whole, and would have been hadn’t he came out.

i think it would have been hotter if he just started from the dry humping and not the whole condom rolling stick the tongue out face.
i think frank ocean coming out definitely aided his grammy chances but what helped him even more was the fact that he is now the most visible R&B/hip hop artist to come out. i cannot think of the last artist to do so who has the same visibility as frank ocean.
are the grammy using him to push a more diverse mix of nominees maybe because frank ocean, miguel and janelle monae are the only people of color to be nominated in the big four or general categories. he kind of stands out unless im missing somebody. . . either way good for him and miguel must be happy to be nominated.

First Frank Ocean is bomb regardless of his ‘coming out’ or not. The album is golden. That being said, Miguel definitely didnt get the attention he deserves. He is an incredibly talented and original artist. As for the video – I could have done without the condom part.

He’s very talented, I love his album. Of course I love Frank’s first, but they’re a good combo when I play them one after the other on my Itunes.
The video is kinda hot
