My favorite “Project Runway” judge is the latest celebrity to take advantage of New York’s recent passing of same sex marriage. “Welcome To The Dollhouse’s” Heather Matarazzo announced her upcoming nuptials with her longtime girlfriend last week and now it’s Michael Kors’ turn. The designer and his longtime partner Lance LaPere received their marriage license at the City Clerk’s office in Manhattan on Wednesday. The two met over twenty years ago and plan to marry in then near future.
“Lance and I are very excited to finally be able to have the opportunity to marry in our home state after many years together. We have no plans for a major party, but we will be getting married privately,” – Michael Kors
The two plan on keeping the upcoming festivities very low key. Much like his designs, I expect the ceremony to be clean, modern and without a lot of frills. While picking up their license, Kors and his fiance were in great spirits. Reportedly, they were both casually dressed and even posed for pictures with a few girls at the office. Awwww, how cute. Congratulations to the happy couple. I hope Michael realizes I’m a really huge fan and decides to send an invite my way. LOL.
The happy couple checking out the US Open.
A couple that does matching Halloween costumes together… stays together.
Look at Lance hanging out with Kors and his mother. It’s always a smart move to make nice with the in-laws.
