If watching the Spice Girls perform during the London 2012 Olympic closing ceremonies whet your appetite for new music by the saucy quintet. You’re in luck… sorta. Two of the Spices, Sporty and Baby, have recorded a duet for Mel C’s upcoming album, Stages, out on September 9 in the UK. This is the first time Emma Bunton and Chisholm have been on the same track since 2007′s “Headlines“.
“I Know Him So Well” is a ballad originally written for the 1984 musical Chess. ABBA’s Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson composed it with the help of Tim Rice. It was later recorded by Elaine Page and Barbara Dickson in 1985 and became a UK chart-topper. For me, I know the track because of Whitney Houston. The Sparkle actress recorded a duet with her mom, gospel singer Cissy, for her 1987 album, Whitney. Check out Mel C. and Emma’s version below, along with the other versions.
Does their collaboration spice up your life? Do you think Mel C. will have other guest artists on her upcoming album? Sound off below.

The last one obviously isn’t an abba song. It was recorded by Steps. Take a look here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYwTK6vat8g
