Guess which site added another cast member? It’s us, silly. Unlike our last addition, Nic, we decided not to do a big build-up until the big reveal. Instead, we decided to just surprise you with the news. Truth be told, we weren’t necessarily looking for a new cast member, since we just added Nic just a few weeks ago. But the amount of traffic and comments generated from a few of Alex’s “Saturday Submissions” made us take notice.

Hailing from Seattle, Alex comes from an advertising background and is very well-versed in many topics. Get to know our latest addition to the Homorazzi family with the standard Q&A I subject all the cast members to. We are honored to have Alex join us on a regular basis and hope you’ll show him the same love you’ve given us.

What is horoscope sign?
Taurus – The Taurus was originally introduced by Ford in 1986 and has remained in production for more than 2 decades (that’s 20 years).  Oh, wait, wrong kind of Taurus.  Funny enough, I was born in 1986 and the Ford Taurus debuted in 1986.  The More You Know (cue shooting star). 

What is your dream job?
Personal Assistant to Oprah or Ad Agency CEO

What is one of your pet peeves?
When people don’t use their blinkers.  I MEAN, REALLY?!  It is approximately 2.7 inches away from your finger and you can’t take a split second to flick it?  Laziness at it’s finest. Also, excessive use of ‘LOL.’  

What is your guilty pleasure when it comes to fast food or junk food?
McDonald’s (Taco Time, Wendy’s and Red Lobster) and Oreos

What is your favorite quote?

What is your favorite childhood memory?
Well, when I was growing up my mom and I went to church just about every Sunday and the Sundays I remember the most started off at church, then a stop by the Lakewood House of Donuts or Tijuana Tacos and then a long drive to wherever we thought would be fun that day.  Most times we’d end up driving through neighborhoods with expensive houses where I often got lost dreaming of what it would be like to be a kid growing up in these huge houses.  Life wasn’t always the easiest back then, but those drives seemed to spark something in us that made the coming week just that much better.  

If you could be someone else in the Homorazzi cast, who would you be and why?
(I’m overanalyzing – see next question) I personally believe that as a U.S. American I would like to have Stephen’s kindness, Brian’s manly handyman-ness, Dan’s cheerleading “skills,” Dono’s www prowess and Kevin’s laugh. 

What is one of your bad habits?
Procrastinating and overanalyzing 

What’s your fave drink/cocktail?
First of all, it’s “favorite DRANK” and I’m a vswel type of guy – vodka soda w/ extra lime.  If I’m feelin’ fancy I’ll take a Bacardi O Mojito.  

What are three personality traits you would use to describe yourself?
Outgoing, caring and stubborn

What are three personality traits people would use to describe you?
Humorous, genuine and confident

What are some of your nicknames?
Lady, Lady Face, TAlex, Al 

What cartoon character would you be and why?
Snagglepuss – Heavens to Murgatroyd!  Who wouldn’t want to be a big gay pink cat?
