‘Mean Girls’ Cast Join Forces To Raise Money For Las Vegas Shooting Victims

If you’ve seen the film more than once, you know October 3 is the day Aaron Samuels (Jonathan Bennett) asked Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) what date it was. It’s one of the memorable lines from the extremely quotable comedy. As a result, October 3 has unofficially become Mean Girls Day.

This year, several cast members from the iconic teen flick have reunited for a worthy cause. Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert, Daniel Franzese and Bennett are asking Mean Girls fans to donate money to help victims of the mass shooting in Las Vegas this past Sunday. That senseless tragedy left at least 59 people dead and more than 500 others injured.

“We know fetch is never going to happen, but we can make this happen,” Chabert says in the video. 100% of funds raised go to the National Compassion Fund, a program in the National Center for Victims of Crime. It’s an organization that has collected and distributed funds to victims of the Pulse Nightclub shooting, the Aurora shooting, and even 9/11 in the past. To donate, head over to their GoFundMe page.

UPDATE: Lindsay Lohan, Rajiv Surendra and Lizzie Caplan have joined in to help raise funds as well. Watch their video below.
