Looks like another live-action He-Man film is in the works. The beloved Mattel toy first came to life in an animated series that ran from 1983-1985. The superhero from Eternia hit the big screen in 1987 with Masters Of The Universe. Dolph Lundgren played He-Man, while Frank Langella took on Skeletor. Courteney Cox also starred in it as Julie Winston.
Variety reports Noah Centineo is in talks to play He-Man in the reboot being directed by brothers Adam and Aaron Nee. The 22-year-old actor’s star is certainly rising. He’s got three films arriving this year including the Charlie’s Angels reboot co-starring Kristen Stewart. The Miami native is also currently appearing in those sexy Calvin Klein ads, along with Shawn Mendes.
After watching Netflix’s adorable rom-com, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, I have a slight crush Centineo. With that being said, I’m not sure if he’s right for the role. He’ll certainly have to bulk up to play the muscly superhero. Thoughts on Noah possibly portraying He-Man? Weigh in below.
