2017 has been a banner year for Martin Garrix. He released the one-two punch of “Scared to Be Lonely” and “There for You” featuring Dua Lipa and Troye Sivan respectively. The 21-year-old Dutch DJ caps off a stellar year with another killer collabo.
“So Far Away” is a joint production between Garrix and David Guetta, featuring the vocals of Jamie Scott and Romy Dya. Rumor has it, Ellie Goulding and Conor Maynard were originally eyed to headline the track. Scott and Dya don’t have the star power has Goulding and Maynard, but they provide solid harmonies on the bass-thumping synth bop. I’m a fan.
Check out the accompanying visual below directed by Damian Karsznia. If you’re curious who the hunky dude is, his name is Jelmer van Nunspeet. Stalk away on Instagram 😉
