Marina Steps Out Without Her Diamonds On New Single ‘Handmade Heaven’ (Video)

Marina, formerly known as Marina and the Diamonds, just dropped a new single. Not including her feature on Clean Bandit’s “Baby” with Luis Fonsi, it’s her first solo song since 2015’s “Blue.”

Handmade Heaven” is a lush dreamy number that’s borderline operatic. Her ethereal vocals are absolutely divine. It was produced by Joel Little who was the mastermind behind Lorde’s Pure Heroine.

“I envy the birds high up in the trees / They live out their lives so purposefully / I envy the spiders, the squirrels and seeds / They all find their way automatically,” the 33-year-old Welsh diva achingly sings on the poetic track.

Check out the music video below which finds Marina enjoying a stroll on a wintery day.
