Warner Bros. just released the third trailer for Man of Steel and simply put… It’s FRIGGIN’ AMAZING. It’s so jam-packed with new content, the studio didn’t have any other option than to make it three minutes long. Typically, trailers are just a bit of over two minutes. If you’re already looking forward to the superhero flick, watching this will do nothing to ease the wait. Epic doesn’t even begin to describe it. This will be the must-see movie event of the summer.

A few days ago, Warner Bros. released a static-y teaser featuring the voice of Superman’s nemesis General Zod (Michael Shannon). This new clip gives you the first look at him in his Kryptonian armor. We also see the debut of Russell Crowe as Jor-el, giving a glimpse at the war on Superman’s home planet that forced his parents to send him to Earth. Superman’s wintery Fortress of Solitude is also shown, but the biggest reveal of all is how Superman gets his name. Here’s a hint. It has something to do with Lois Lane’s (Amy Adams) first verbal interaction with him.

As with the other trailers, we see Henry Cavill in and out his Superman costume. As majestic and regal as it looks, I’d rather seem him without it on. The furry Wolverine-ish look he’s sporting in the picture above is EVERYTHING. Check out the new trailer below.
