    I don’t think Scott is a sore loser because he asks for votes occasionally on his Facebook. To be honest out of all these guys I can probably bet you that he’s the most genuine. All you see actors for is there looks and that’s because they don’t take the time to let people know them. To see what they stand for. Scott does however and that’s why I voted for him and will keep voting for him.

    Tough choice: a tossup between Mehcad and Ryan. If I looked at both of them standing side-by-side I would probably faint. Either that or I’d scream like the Bride of Frankenstein, then faint! I would need CPR (ooooooohhh, now there’s a thought) They’d have to call for a stretcher and ambulance. I couldn’t eat for a week, then a strict diet of tres leches ice cream and baked potatoes, followed by more ice cream. Have to send all the clothes I was wearing to the dry cleaners to remove all the blood and lube stains, give a dna sample, then call my lawyer! (;

    @Mel, why don’t you help me to understand why it is such a bad thing to get my community involved in this “Showdown”? Also miss smarty pants. My COMMUNITY.. not fans, are from all over the world.

    In fact, they are from USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Ireland, Philippines, Australia, Malaysia, South Africa, Brunei, New Zealand, Sweden, Bermuda, Belgium, Mexico, Hong Kong, Denmark, Greece, Slovenia, Israel, India, Thailand, Brazil, Japan, Norway, Netherlands, and Singapore.

    I know this because I personally packaged and shipped the tank tops purchased by all of my community members.

    Different countries means different TIME ZONES… So yes, I have had to post the link to this page several times so that my community members who were alseep would see it when they awoke and so that they can be involved in one of the many fun things we do as a supportive community.

    So why don’t you just take a chill pill and calm ya beava down a bit and let everyone have some fun? :-)

    Also, you should learn how to spell my name if you are going to insult me.

    @Mel, once again your foot is where your mouth should be. Why don’t you do some research before you openly show the world how much of a dope you are?

    I provided FREE content for almost a year before I even started selling T-Shirts/Tank Tops. I am the ONLY fitness Guru on YouTube who has continuously uploaded a NEW workout each week for the last year and a half and STILL provide FREE content on a weekly basis. I also provide FREE information and tips and spend 6-8 hours a day on my facebook community page interacting with everyone answering questions for FREE.

    Maybe you should take a course in manners and respect for the people who are actually trying to make a positive difference in this world.

    Lastly, OMG!! I have a business and earn an income so I can support myself, my family, and to be able to continue to upgrade my business so that I can provide better content for my community members AND even though you are going off on a tangent for whatever reason; you would still be forgiven and accepted in our community because that is what SHF is all about.

    Actually, I klnow Scott PERSONALLY and he’s a very good friend of mine. He’s a very honest and genuine person and those traits alone set him above the others in the running here.

    I guarantee you that WHEN Scott wins, he will thank each and every person who voted for him.. can you say the same for the others? In fact, out of all the men listed in this “competition”.. have you seen ANY of them besides Scott even take an active part in this at all?

    Scott and I had our disagreement in the past, but once I met him in person and had the opportunity to spend time with him, that changed everything for me.

    Scott will have my vote as long as I am able to keep submitting it. And I am not voting for him because he sent me a tshirt (i wont ever ask for one anyway lol) or because I buy merchandise from him (which I don’t) I am voting for him because he is the ONE person on the list of options who would APPRECIATE it more than anyone else.

    Having received a Scott Herman Fitness Tee all the way here in Glasgow, Scotland i would like to say Herman is undoubtedly a man crush of mine…and since when was asking for support a bad thing…do Politicians do it for votes..launch whole campaigns…do musicians not publicise to get to number 1?
    It means something to Scott as someone on the way up, and most of the very visible stars are obviously not interested enough.
    And as a community we watch and get great advice from his site so he is welcome to ask us to represent our community by voting!!

    My god, So he has a facebook page. I am a fan of Scott’s. I have seen him on line ineracting with his fans. He give tips and advice on how to stay fit. He is also One of the few people who support our gay struggles. So, back off rambo. Everyone needs to make a living, and if you don’t buy a shirt from him, guess what. He still TALKS TO US!     Scott Has A Regular Job Plus He also runs ScottHermanFitness Which By My Estimation Could Be A Full-Time Job In its Own Right.

    Scott Devotes His Free Time To help Keep His Fans Healthy. Doing Most Of His Videos Late At night. So He’s Charging Money For Tank Tops & t-Shirts. Thats No Big Deal & It Helps Keep SHF Going. I am All for It

I am not going to be afraid to speak up because I am a “public figure”.     I just wanted to thank Scott and all his support on here. If anyone deserves recognition for being a great supporter of humanity, equality, tolerance, love, peace, fitness and health and more it’s definitely someone that I admire very much on this earth. I have been struggling with my fitness for years. I may not always get to the gym, but Scott does more than just workout, he commends, applauds, is interactive with all of us. His ambition and zest for life is contagious. That is why we love him. Even if it is vicariously.. He is a wonderful human being, and trust me if I had thousands of dollars, I would buy everyone of his shirts and give them to homeless people to show them, Scott Herman and his Hermanation loves them and wants them to be happy, safe and feel human again. For those of your that give your disparaging and senseless remarks.. You for one, will never understand the power that Scott has over us. Its sad, because you are missing out one of the most fabulous people in my life that I consider a model human being. This is an expensive world and he deserves the most love, peace and friendship anyone could have.. Scott is working for world harmony thru fitness and a great personality.     Sheer looks only go so far when it comes to deciding whether someone’s attractive or not. I can’t speak to ANYONE on this list except Scott Herman.

    I’ve gotten to know him over the past few months and he is one of the most genuine people I know. Putting hundreds of fitness videos on YouTube so people can learn workout tips for free is just the tip of the iceberg. He genuinely appreciates all his fans, many of whom are also his friends.

    As others have said, Mel, you don’t know what the hell you’re on about. Scott fights for gay equality with more passion than some gay people I know. It’s not an act, and it’s not to build the Scott Herman brand. He does what he does because he believes in what he says.

I became a fan of Scott’s while watching him on the REAL WORLD. Yes, I understand that it a TV show.     Scott Herman – and here’s why…

    Firstly, he is GORGEOUS! Umm, have you seen him smile? And, he has an amazing laugh (he often laughs at himself), and he is GORGEOUS (oh, wait did I mention that already).

    Secondly – unlike alot of the other contestants that are a great smile, and a hot body – Scott actually encourages (selflessly, I might add) others to be that way. To be a Hermanite is to enjoy working out, enjoy building a body, understanding how bodies work, where strengths and weaknesses lie. While the other guys have bodies, Scott helps me build mine. He has an intricate love, a passion, for what he does. He could easily be doing something else, and making much more money, but his devotion and dedication to all is not only admirable, but it’s more crush worthy than any of the others.

    Thirdly – he’s hung like a horse, he has satisfied ever person that he has ever slept with (and many that he has not) and he is sex on a stick! (Haha, well – he is a model).

    Forth – It’s Scott Herman – an advocate of so many things, LGBT rights, Fiscal Conservatism, Camaro Driving, Dog Owning – in other words – perfect Husband material. Oh, and did I mention, that he is GORGEOUS?

    Fifth – unlike many of the other guys here, Scott is devotion. Where as he could be doing so much more with his life, to benefit himself, he offers himself, selflessly and without hesitation to others. He offers kind, yet encouraging news. He shows the world that a little bit of laughter, a few reps and some knowledge is all it takes to succeed on a daily basis. He is inspirational, he is amazing, oh, and did I mention GOR(ok, you get it).

    My vote’s for Scott!

    I came here to vote for Scott Herman. My vote got hung up so I started reading comments. I’m glad my vote did get hung up because I won’t be voting for Scott now.

    After seeing Scott’s name-calling & sexist comments, I’m frankly appalled. I think Scott helped to prove Mel’s point, as I see immaturity seeping throughout his comments.

    Calling someone “Miss smarty pants”, “a dope”, saying their “foot is where their mouth should be” and mostly, “calm ya beava down” – all uncalled for. I think Scott owes Mel and ALL females an apology.

    (Do you say that to your girlfriend Scott? Is it true that your girlfriend (Erica Stibich Williams?) is married, as rumored above? If true, I find that to be in poor taste, as well.)

    Some of these comments just make me laugh. Like the one about him dating a married woman, it’s a contest called man crush, mostly who do you think is the hottest guy, not who would I most likely marry. Let’s be honest here you don’t know any of the other candidates either, so who’s to say they’ve never dated a married woman or done anything bad in there lives. As for him saying beava, I’m a woman and I’m not offended by that because I don’t refer to my female genitalia as a beaver, only because I find it ridiculous to call it that. Some of you need to calm down and remember that this is suppose to be for fun, and if the people want to vote for Scott, like I have been doing then who cares. It’s not affecting your day so don’t be negative towards others for doing so.     The only beef I have against Scott (despite all the great fitness promotion work he does) is that he is very self-centered. He holds contests for who does the best fan art of HIMSELF and recently asked his community to make fan videos of themselves imitating him. I mean, how self-absorbed can you be? And then we can get into his promotion of contests like these?

    Scott, do you really need to win all of these contests and have people draw and imitate you to feel good about yourself?

    As For The Profile Pic Drawing Contest,. Well One Usually Has A Pic Of Themselves On Their Profile. So This Is A Way Scott Could Get His Community Involved & Showing Off Their Creative Side As Well

    As For The Videos Of The Community As Scott Doing Exercise Routines Well For Me It helps Motivate me Seeing Other Members On Video doing These Exercises

    None Of That I Would Consider Self Centered

    @Luke…I have been following Scott Herman on facebook for a while and I don’t find him to be self-centered at all. In addition to all the information he provides FOR FREE on fitness, he is and has been a great advocate for the gay community. Does he promote himself? Yes. Why not? If that pays the bills then great!

    You must realize that you are having an impact because of all the naysayers cropping up. Keep up the good work! For yourself and then for the rest of us.

    BTW. I should let you know that after a long hiatus from the gym, due to living through the experience of cancer and depression. You have been a HUGE inspiration to me to get back to my life. Your enthusiasm and sincerity have been a great motivation. Thank you very much.
