Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi. This week’s man crush comes from the land down under. The lucky recipient of my unwarranted affection is rugby footballer, Jarryd Hayne. The 21-year old beefcake plays for the Parramatta Eels and besides looking absolutely hot, he’s a pretty good player. Despite being so young, he’s racked up a few prestigious awards in the rugby world.

I could go on and on with rugby stats and other sports-related tidbits, but I’m sure that’s not what you’re looking for. In other words, I don’t understand rugby or anything about it. Don’t get me wrong. I love my athletics and follow other sports religiously, but unfortunately rugby is not one of them. The only thing I know about rugby are those homoerotic Dieux du Stade calendars. All I need to understand is that Jarryd is one HOT piece of a$$.

Jarryd knew at an early age, rugby would be his calling. His father, Monoa Thompson, was a footballer himself. That’s where he gets his rugged good lucks from- he’s part Fijian and Australian.

Hayne and two of his teammates were shot at while walking along in Kings Cross section in Sydney. No one was injured in this situation, but the event shook up Haynes. Jarryd says he reinvented himself this year on and off the field. He’s been quoted as saying:

“I was just getting back to my roots… doing a bit with God and church,” “It’s been good. I’ve just been taking things slow and taking baby steps and the year’s just been amazing.”
