If you watched “American Idol” last night, you saw a 90-second preview of Madonna’s upcoming music video for “Give Me All Your Luvin’“. If not, then you can catch the full version right here. How is it? Simply put, it is fantastic and has the potential of being one of Madonna’s better visuals. It’s her just having fun and no pretension in sight. The second the preview ended, I wanted more. That side-walking camera angle was brilliant. Thankfully, the full-length clip has now been released.
Firstly, Madonna looks absolutely amazing. The singer may be 53-years-old, but she doesn’t look a day over 40. Talk about the magic of good lighting. When I first heard the song, I wasn’t going crazy over it like so many people. That said, video has made me fall in love with the track. That speaks volumes on exactly how Madge has masterfully used the music video medium to define her career. Definitely one of the pioneers.
For their parts, both Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. look great as well. The latter usually looks unpolished, but she’s got it going on here. Props to both of them for showing respect to Madge by staying back and just cheering her on.
What did you think of the video concept? Sound off below.

I totally agree Donovan. I was sorta so-so on the song, but the video definitely makes me love it. It’s fun, campy, and she looks phenomenal.

I think Madonna is so yesterday. I really liked her in the 80s and 90s. She always used to be a trendsetter, now she is just chasing trends. And she’s always a few years behind, it was like this with Timbaland on HARD CANDY and now she has Nicki Minaj?! C’mon EVERYBODY and I literally mean everybody has already worked with her.
The new single sounds too much like BEAUTIFUL STRANGER, which I always hated, so I’m not too fond of the new song. Let’s hope the album will be better.

This song is pathetic. The video is like an episode of Glee directed by David LaChapelle. So disappointed in Madonna……

She was a popstar of the last century & still sounds like she’s stuck there! This is soooo Mickey by Toni Basil from the 80′s. She’s saying all music sounds the same in this clip, when she has the samey sound from her earlier career. She used to be a leader, but now she’s just Lame! She don’t care about her fans, she just wants your money honey! Bills to pay! This comeback smacks of desperation from a faded diva! I used to be a fan, but I’m not giving her my money till she truely re-invents herself & stops bitching about Gaga, who IMO truely cares about her fanbase! I bet I’m not the only one, who used to be a huge Madonna fan who got put off by the snide comments about Gaga…it seems like a bad move to call Gaga out, when Madonna has ripped off everyone in the book! Plus, those older Gaga fans used to be hers…great way to alienate those ppl Madge! You’ve lost me! Bubye!

she looks good for a 53-yr-old , but then taking care of your body and shape is the least you can do when you have too much time on your hands and lots of money.
The video’s great, nothing OMG about it,clearly the football players have been thrown in there to stir more hype around her appearance at the superbowl.
Now about the song, first all, it is not AT ALL debut single material, this is a long ways off from “4 minutes”. She of all people should know how this industry works and know better about choosing the right tune to debut a come-back with, this song sounds like something you’d throw in the b-side of a CD or a free extra when you purchase the album on Itunes. What the hell was she thinking ? and I can understand Nicki Minaj collaborating in this, at least she raps. But exactly what is M.I.A doing here ? just mimicking cheerleading chants and flapping pom-pon around ?! Her name really does her justice in this, she is indeed Missing In Action in this video, for an artist who pretends to be smart, authentic and involved in all sort of social stuff. that’s what she gives her image to ?! But the real question is why does Madonna have to resort to younger rising artists to promote her work all the time ? First it was Britney Spears, then Justin timberlake and Timbaland and then N.E.R.D , and now Nicki Minaj and M.I.A ? Can’t she just come up with something great on her own instead of having to cling to whatever’s trending in the industry nowadays ?!
She has years of baggage and experience in music and performance art, yet she really doesn’t seem like she matured much into it.

I agree with a couple of the comments, even though it’s important for her to keep sounding like Madonna, I think she at least need to evolve a little so she sound more “now” or relevant…. the song sounds too old fashioned. *sigh*

The song and video are crap. And no, I’m not a Gaga fan. Madonna is copying from various sources. She’s ripping off Marilyn Monroe’s image. Again. The video is reminiscent of Toni Basil’s “Mickey” and Gwen Stefani’s “Hollaback Girl”, mixed with an Old Navy commercial. Of course her modus operandi for many years is to feature younger musicians on her songs, so she can appear hip and relevant to teenagers. Sorry, this smacks of desperation and regression. She hasn’t shown maturity in her songwriting since Ray Of Light. “Give Me All Your Luvin’” is a song written for a Disney tween idol.

When the video starts it has the vibe of a Target or Old Navy commercial. And then it starting raining gold and she faked breast feeding a baby doll which is just strange.. most of the stuff in the video does not connect with the lyrics at all.
It’s funny to me that she hates on Gaga for stealing things when Nicki Minaj took style cues from Gaga. And this video even seemed to borrow from some other pop trends – the fireworks at the end reminded me of Katy Perry and the girls with doll masks reminded me of Gwen Stefani’s harajuku girls. And like many of you already pointed out, all the singing cheerleaders and football players just cried out Glee.
The best thing she did was keep those hideous arms hidden under clothing for most of the video. ;)
