First Look: Colin Hanks In “Lucky”

What happens when a wannabe serial killer wins millions of dollars in the lottery? You get the plot for Lucky, a new film starring Colin Hanks, Ari Graynor and the always funny Jeffrey Tambor.
Colin Hanks plays the role of Ben who after coming home from work one day discovers that he has won the lottery. Back at work the next day, his colleagues throw him a party including the office secretary (and his lifelong crush), Lucy, played by Ari Graynor. After an unfortunate mishap with a knife, the two become wed and begin their life together enjoying the winnings from the lottery, except there is something dark and twisted about this couple… Ben likes to kill people.
When an on slot of murders begin to happen all involving blonde women showing a great resemblance to Lucy, Detective Waylan played by Jeffrey Tambor is on the case to discover who the serial killer is and where the missing women are. While the marriage seems dysfunctional in every way, the two seem to find a way to stay together in the weird obsession with murder.

What a lack of ignorance… and plain intelligence to get the facts before taking a stand. Marriage as we know it has not been around for “thousands of years” and it wasn’t a religious thing either for centuries. It was officially recognize as a rite by the Catholic Church in 1184. Before that a father would simply sell his daughter to a man and that contract that sealed two families was called marriage. But it appears some people rather just talk about what they don’t know and act as plain ignorants.
