‘Love, Simon’ Debuts Adorable New Trailer & First Soundtrack Single

Just a day after Greg Berlanti and the cast held a special screening of Love, Simon, a new trailer arrives. If possible, it’s even more adorable than the previous one. I can’t wait for this contemporary take on the teen flick genre to arrive on March 16.

Everyone deserves a great love story. But for seventeen-year old Simon Spier it’s a little more complicated: he’s yet to tell his family or friends he’s gay and he doesn’t actually know the identity of the anonymous classmate he’s fallen for online. Resolving both issues proves hilarious, terrifying and life-changing.

Love, Simon is a funny and heartfelt coming-of-age story about the thrilling ride of finding yourself and falling in love. It’s based on the best-selling young adult novel Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli. It’s produced by the same studio as The Fault In Our Stars. Riverdale and Arrow maestro Berlanti directed the flick. Nick Robinson plays the lead character, Simon. He’s joined by Katherine Langford, Alexandra Shipp, Tony Hale, Jennifer Garner and Josh Duhamel.

In addition to sharing a new trailer, the first taste off the accompanying soundtrack also arrives. Jack Antonoff executive produced the LP and also contributed a few songs. His band, Bleachers recorded the lead cut “Alfie’s Song (Not So Typical Love Song)” which is featured in the new trailer. Check out the song and new promo below.
