It’s hard to believe the career that Logan Lerman is having at the young age of 20. He’s already skyrocketing to fame with his latest lead role in the cult-followed novel turned feature film, The Perks of Being a Wallflower. His story is truly inspiring and exactly the reason why Fault decided to feature him this month. “Logan is a young man who, by virtue of his accomplishments, has already proven his ability at the highest level despite his relatively young age.” Here’s a peak inside the mag:
On working on “The Perks of Being a Wallflower”…
“I was immediately drawn to it, because it just felt so familiar to me. Then, after reading it, I fell in love with the story. Usually, it takes a little while after reading material to feel invested in it, or even to get a realization that it’s something I want to be in. This was immediate. After the first five pages, I was hooked and I knew I wanted to be a part of it.”
On starting his career at a young age…
“I started at a really young age-like a crazy age to start working. It was just so accessible, going on auditions and living in Los Angeles.” Lerman booked his first gig at two years old, and then picked it up as a career when he was 12. (He says this as if most 12-years-old know what they want to focus on for the rest of their lives.) “I only got back into because I had an interest in filmmaking and, well, what better way to learn about film than to be on set and act again?”
