I may regret saying this five months from now, but I have a feeling the comeback Lindsay Lohan fans have been waiting for is upon us. It maybe foolish on my part, but my gut is telling me the embattled star is serious about getting her life and her career back in order.

By all accounts, her current rehab stint is going swimmingly well. Even though she’s not out yet, LiLo and her people have already begun strategizing on her first project after leaving Cliffside Malibu. Find out what it is below.

The OWN network revealed Oprah Winfrey scored the first interview with the 27-year-old upon her release. More importantly, the network has secured an eight-episode docu-series with the Mean Girls actress. In the past, Lohan has turned down multiple reality show offers, but if you’re going to do one, it might as well be with Winfrey. The series will follow the actress as she works to rebuild her career and stay healthy. Oprah’s exclusive interview will tape and air in August, with the series to air in 2014.

Gotta hand it to Oprah. After a bumpy start, she’s managed to make OWN a success. With her string of exclusive interviews, hit original scripted programming with Tyler Perry and her Oprah’s Next Chapter program, the former fledgling network is coming off its strongest quarter yet, up 32 percent from the first quarter. Reportedly, it’s about to start turning a profit soon. Job well done, Oprah. You can never count her out. It’s wise for Lindsay to team up with Oprah. If anyone can rebuild her career, it’s definitely Forbes’ most powerful person. Don’t you agree? Sound off below.
