According to TMZ, last night at around 4am, Lindsay Lohan was arrested for allegedly getting into a fight at a New York City nightclub.

As TMZ explains, “Law enforcement tells us prior to the fight words were exchanged between Lindsay and the woman as they sat in separate booths near each other. Lindsay said something to the effect of, ‘Give me my space.’ Some time passed and then, for some reason, Lindsay allegedly punched the girl in the left side of her face.

I feel like being out that late midweek is only asking for trouble – which is a chance Lindsay cannot afford to be taking anymore. She’s since been released and the incident is being investigated. Remember Lindsay as Cady in Mean Girls saying, “I knew how this would be handled in the animal world, but in ‘girl world’ all the fighting had to be sneaky.” Clearly she isn’t following her character’s advice.
