Exciting! It’s back. As one of the highest grossing touring festivals in the world from ’97′-’99 and over 1.5 million fans that have atteneded, Lilith Fair and it’s fantastic females are about to raise even more money for a good cause. Already, it has raised over $10 million dollars for national and local charities. Six months ago, one of the founders, Terry McBride announced that the “all-female festival” would make its return in Summer 2010. That time just around the corner… I can’t wait to hear who will be performing this year! Certainly Lady Gaga will make an appearance…

As the title states, the cities have been announced! Sarah McLachlan started the festival back in 1997 with Dan Fraser, Marty Diamond and Terry McBride… celebrating women in music. Over the years, it has featured big names that include: Sheryl Crow, Christina Aguilera, Erykah Badu, The Dixie Chicks, Missy Elliot, The Pretenders, Nelly Furtado, Jewel, Queen Latifah, Indigo Girls, Tegan and Sara and of course, Sarah McLachlan.
