Liam Payne Debuts ‘First Time’ Music Video

Despite a promising start with his debut single “Strip That Down,” which peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, Liam Payne has failed to live up to his potential. Personally, I don’t get it.

His Zedd collabo “Get Low” was fire, along with his J. Balvin-assisted “Familiar.” “Bedroom Floor” wasn’t bad either as was his Rita Ora duet “For You.”

But for some reason, the public just isn’t buying into him as a solo artist. None of his followups have even climbed higher than No. 75 in the US. Hate to be a pessimist, but I don’t think his latest offering will do much to change that.

First Time” is off the debut EP from the 25-year-old former One Direction member. He teams up with French Montana for the track which features a very Camila Cabello “Havana”-esque vibe. Imitation is the best form of flattery, right?

Check out the music video below which finds Liam chasing after a mysterious woman through the streets of New York City.

Liam is not good as a solo artist, IMO. He’s hot and likable, but the music is crap.
