Earlier this fall, Leona Lewis released her third album titled, Glassheart on October 12 and she’s now released the music video for one of the singles from the album called “Lovebird“. The song was co-written by Bonnie McKee (Katy Perry, Britney Spears), Joshua Coleman and Dr. Luke.
In the video, a stunning Leona sings from inside a giant birdcage (sans wings like in Miley Cyrus’ “Can’t Be Tamed” music video), while in other scenes she sings in front of a wind machine to achieve the “hair blowing in the wind” effect.
According to Wikipedia, the first single from this album was “Collide” (released over a year ago). That being said, the album track listing only has “Collide” listed in an Afrojack remix version on the deluxe edition so that’s a little contradictory. More recently, the second single was released as “Trouble” which featured the sexy Colton Haynes as her love interest in the music video. “Lovebird” is then technically the third single from her Glassheart album. Watch & listen to the music video below.

Beautiful video and one of my fave songs on Glassheart. While I appreciate Leona’s love of “Trouble,” I think Lovebird is more likely to do well as a single for her. Come Alive and/or Glassheart should also be released as singles in the upcoming future.
