I have been waiting for this album FOREVER! I have been a big fan of Leona Lewis ever since her triumphant win of the third season of The X Factor in the UK. Her albums Spirit and Echo have made lasting impressions on my album collection and contained some of the most heartfelt and well written songs I’ve even heard. Not to mention, Leona’s vocals kill every single note of the tracks. So, you can imagine my excitement for my girl to release her highly anticipated third album, Glassheart.
The album features twelve tracks for our listening pleasure, a few of which we’ve already heard. A while back, the song Lovebirds had leaked online and I gave you guys a little taste. Then, Leona teamed up with the sexy Colton Haynes for her music video to Trouble. Finally, last month, Lewis debuted the sound of the title track which showed us that Leona isn’t just a park-and-bark vocalist but can really give us soe dance-track realness. Noticeably from the tracklist is her single, Collide.
For tracks I haven’t heard, I’m really feeling Shake You Up which was produced by Darkchild. The track serves up some serious 90′s R&B realness and I cannot wait to hear the full version. I also am digging the Ryan Tedder produced Favorite Scar. I think this album will be a great hit for Leona if she hasn’t lost too many fans along the way with the major delay in getting this album on the shelves. You can pick up your copy of Glassheart on October 15. Give a listen to the album preview below.

I really like Lewis but that is some irrelevant pop trash. Every song sounds the same. And what’s with the artwork? She looks like a drug addict.

I like Leona, but Emili Sande seems to be doing her style of pop with more conviction these days.
