Remember when Lauren Conrad was the lead character on the reality-esque drama, ‘The Hills‘? Can you imagine if Heidi Montag had called her up during one of the episodes and Lauren was like, “Hey, sorry I can’t go out, I’m doing some arts & crafts right now and cutting up all of my books”. LOL.
Well, as the most successful export from that hit series as a best selling author (check out the day we went shopping for books at Target here) and designer, Lauren Conrad can pretty much do whatever she wants. In a video series called “Crafy Creations” that she posts on her site (LaurenConrad.com), Conrad shows people how they can create a fancy new storage solution by cutting up your books. Seems sacrilegious for someone who has a books series to suggest this, right?
Watch the video below to see what her idea is and how you do it, should you be inclined to do so.
Not gonna lie, I kind of like the concept of this idea. LOL. I used to watch Mr. Dressup as a kid and would make all the crafts he did on the show straight afterwards. I remember making some sort of Banana Bird once – haha. While working on a project for a game at Adam‘s cabin this weekend, I realized how I enjoy doing these types of crafty things I used to do as I kid. It may seem nerdy, but I’m going to start doing more of it because I find it to be super relaxing and a great way to keep my stress levels low and get my mind off work for a change. Maybe I should make videos like Lauren with the super cheesy music in the background!!??

Create a storage space for books by chopping books up and gluing pieces together to make pretend books? Has white girl done lost her mind

Can’t blame the girl for trying to continue her 15 minutes and Martha Stewart is kinda a has-been at this point.
Why the hell not?
But my god – does she have to make it as boring as watching paint dry?

Lauren Conrad was boring on the show and it looks like it has continued into her post-show life as well.
