Lana Del Rey assisted The Weeknd on a couple tracks for his Starboy album- “Party Monster” and “Stargirl Interlude.” It’s only fair the Canadian singer return the favor. He teams up with Del Rey for the title track off her forthcoming fifth studio album.
Lana premiered “Lust For Life” on Mistajam’s BBC Radio 1 show earlier today. She previously revealed the song was reworked after consulting Swedish songwriter-producer Max Martin. The hitmaker suggested her verse become the song’s chorus. Glad she took his advice, because I love the final outcome.
Though it’s titled “official audio,” Del Rey and The Weekend appear in the YouTube clip. They’re shown sitting on the ‘H’ of the Hollywood sign. Check out their hot collabo below. If this doesn’t become her biggest commercial hit, I’ll be surprised.
In addition to premiering the track, the 31-year-old chanteuse also revealed her Sean Lennon collabo, “Tomorrow Never Came,” is one of her top 3 favorite songs on the LP. I can’t wait to hear that one.
