lady-gaga-heartbeats

I can’t sing like Lady Gaga. I can’t wear coke-cans in my hair like Gaga. I definitely can’t rock out Alexander McQueen shoes like her. Actually, I can’t do anything like her except… listen to music like her.

I finally got my hands on a pair of the high-performance in-ear headphones, Heartbeats, and tried them out. Verdict… I totally love them. The sound and clarity is A-MAZE-BALLS, and don’t even get me started on the bass. I’m not an overly ostentatious guy but I have to admit, I love showing off the sparkling bling. I’ve never pierced my ears so wearing the the headphones sorta simulate me having diamond studs.

Here’s Lady Gaga’s explanation behind her motivation for creating the headphones:

“In the deepest hour of the night, I confess to myself three things; I would die if I was forbidden to write, forbidden to love, or forbidden to fashion. Heartbeats embody the trinity of my human being, with one additional vow: that SOUND matters. Wear heartbeats, love each other, and celebrate the art and lifestyle of music.”

Monster made a wise move and enlisting the fashion-forward pop star to represent the newest addition to the hugely popular Beats™ by Dr. Dre™ headphone family from Monster.  With her outrageous sense of fashion and innovative catchy sound, the Heartbeats and Gaga are a perfect match made in uber gay heaven.

The “Heartbeats” come in three different colors: Rose Red; Black Chrome; and Bright Chrome (the ones I have). They go for about $119.95 and if you buy it from the Beats By Dre website, you get free shipping. Depending on what color you purchase, you receive a matching plush travel case to house the headphones when not in use. All headphones come with a three year limited warranty and hours and hours of music enjoyment.

Whether you have an iPhone, iPod or other MP3 device, I highly suggest you invest in a high-performance headphone. Listening to your music will never be the same. I find the stock headsets that usually come pre-packaged with mp3 players are substandard and not durable.

Vice President of Marketing and Product Development for Monster, Kevin Lee, couldn’t have summarized the product better:

“Beats delivers on the promise of a better music experience and we are honored to have Lady Gaga to launch Heartbeats and continue that commitment to sound in a way that is stylistically Lady Gaga and sonically Dr. Dre.”
