As the popularity of singing and dancing shows has increased, established pop stars (including the judges on the shows) have used the medium as a platform for promoting there own music. I don’t see anything wrong with that, but rather it’s just an observation. On November 28, for example, a preview of Britney Spears & Will.I.Am‘s music video for “Scream & Shout” will premiere on The X Factor. I can’t wait!

This week, three established female pops stars performed on three different reality competition shows and I’m curious to know which one was your favorite. I decided to include these three because each of them is a gay icon in their own way with all three being quite popular within the gay community. Kylie Minogue performed her legendary hit, “Locomotion” on Strictly Come Dancing, while Paula Abdul performed a medley of her hits on Dancing With The Stars last night. Christina Aguilera performed both nights on The Voice this week, performing her new duet with Blake Shelton called “Just A Fool” the first night, and “Let There Be Love” last night. For the record, those are two of my favorite songs on the album, but to keep it fair, I only included the latter performance in the poll below.

Watch the three performances and vote for your favorite below.

Strictly Come Dancing: ‘Locomotion’ – Kylie Minogue
