Listen To Kings of Leon’s Wicked Robyn Cover

What can I say, BBC Radio 1 are on a roll with their Live Lounge series. Some of their recent highlights include Ellie Goulding covering Justin Timberlake and Robin Thicke taking on Icona Pop. Just this week, Bastille did a phenomenal job with their acoustic Miley-Billy Ray Cyrus mashup. Now it’s Kings of Leon’s turn to blow us out of the proverbial water.

The Grammy winning American rock band were on hand to promote their latest single, “Supersoaker.” As is the norm for all visiting musical acts, a cover of another contemporary artist is mandatory. The Nashville quartet choose Sweden’s favorite pop diva, Robyn. The southern rockers give her dance hit, “Dancing On My Own,” their usual blues awesomeness. It elevates the lyrics to a whole new emotional level. Give it a listen below.
