Elaborate publicity stunt or genuine drunken night prank? You decide. Tommy is going to have a field day with this one. Ke$ha released a video on her YouTube detailing the events of a “drunken” night. On this particular evening, the 22-year-old singer and her inebriated-looking friends drive up to the famed Hollywood sign to Ke$ha-fy it.

At first, I was wondering how they were going to get close enough to the sign. From experience, I know that it’s fenced up and heavily monitored by security. After being approached by the guards, they hop over the fence and drape fabric over the sign and spray paint over it. After a few moments, they are spotted and chased off the premises by security.

The video ends with Ke$ha and her friends waking up like P.Diddy the next morning in the back of the limo. They step out and marvel at their practical joke and scream with excitement. “Hwood sign is officially my biznatch,” K$ wrote.

After watching the video, what are your thoughts? Is this some elaborate publicity stunt? Why would you post a video of you “defacing” the Hollywood sign? I’m sure this is a criminal offense and by uploading the vid, you’re only implicating yourself. Is Ke$ha that dumb or that big a fame whore? Or is this some big master scheme concocted by her and her manager?
