I love me a little Ke$ha. Her songs are catchy and they are stuck in your head forever. Her album Cannibal which was released last year was on heavy rotation on my iPod for a while. As much as I love a good bass-thumping pop track, I love when Ke-dollar sign-ha slows it down a little bit for us to show that she still has a soul.
A previously unreleased track that didn’t make the cut for her latest album has now been sent out to radio and to be honest, I love it while some other critics down right hate it. This song is a perfect blend of two of my favorite Ke$ha songs: Your Love Is My Drug and The Harold Song. This track is a good song to cruise the night in your car with, windows down of course. If there is one thing I wish, it would be that the track hit more of a climax somewhere whether it be in the chorus or in the bridge. But, I still love it. The lyrics ring out as follows:
“And we go down, down, down like shooting stars
In the night time, time, time while the world’s still ours
We won’t cry, cry, cry while the ending starts
We’re going down, down, down on the hood of my car.”
While I do not condone drinking and driving, I highly recommend downloading this song for those starry night drives with a loved one or a good mid-tempo jam to add to your regular iPod playlist. Give the track a listen and let me know in the comments below what you think of the track.

I’m a huge Ke$ha fan. This is a very good mid-tempo song, like you said. I actually found a link to quite a few of her unreleased songs, you should listen to Aliens Invading, Boom Boom Bang, and Slow Motion ft. Three 6 Mafia as well :)
