Kesha first shared “Hymn” ahead of the release of her comeback album, Rainbow, last summer. Months later, a music video for the inspiring anthem has arrived. The 31-year-old singer revealed via Twitter that she’s dedicating it to the DREAMers.
“As I say in ‘Hymn‘, we are all ‘Dreamers searching for the truth,’ and I hope you will stand with me to fight for the DREAMers. Join me and let’s support United We Dream,” Kesha tweeted. “In conjunction with this collaboration, I am also releasing the music video for ‘Hymn‘.”
“This song is so important to me, and I’ve been holding onto this music video for a while now, but after meeting Cristina Jiménez, co-founder of the largest immigrant youth organization in the country @UnitedWeDream, I felt like now was the time to release it to further bring attention to this cause,” Kesha continued. “We are all the same, born into whatever circumstance the universe hands us, and I believe it should be a right to be able to dream big.”
Check out the clip below. It sorta has a sci-fi vibe to it.
