Sitting next to President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle, Meryl Streep was honored with an amazing tribute at the Kennedy Center in their annual national celebration of the arts.
In addition to a montage of all of the many noteworthy films she’s been in, the tribute included Tracey Ullman, Robert De Niro, Mike Nichols, Kevin Kline, Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci and Anne Hathaway.
When Hathaway takes the stage, she sings “She’s My Pal” to Streep (and does the splits) while the others join her in song afterward. If there’s an actor out there that deserves such an elaborate tribute, it’s most certainly Meryl Streep. Watch below.
