On May 30, 2017, everything changed for Kathy Griffin. That’s the day the 58-year-old comedienne uploaded that infamous photo snapped by controversial photographer Tyler Shields, featuring Griffin holding a bloody severed head resembling POTUS 45. The backlash was swift and it looked like her career was over.
Fast forward two years later and Kathy is staging a comeback. The trailer for her first ever concert film has debuted. Kathy Griffin: A Hell of A Story will make its debut at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. Griffin will be on hand to host the world premiere and also conduct a Q&A.
